Welcome to Fourth Grade!
Be sure to check out my website for homework and news:

It is an exciting year when the children "graduate" to the intermediate level. They will be expanding on their knowledge of what God expects of them, by studying the Ten Commandments, the Beautitudes, and the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy. In addition, they will continue to learn about God's unlimited forgiveness and unconditional love. Students will also be reading and writing quite a bit. Hopefully, everyone has read many books over the summer and will be ready to take on the popular AR tests! Science will be off to a fun start in the fall, when we study glaciers, soil, volcanoes, and earthquakes. From there we will move into heat, electricity, light and sound. At the end of the year we will study fossils and the life cycles of plants and animals. 4th grade is also known for its study of Ohio, which always includes creative projects, as well as exciting field trips. The Native American wars are always thrilling! Come and join us for a wonderful year of learning, growth, and friendship!
